Full Moon

Written by Emily Reid Green

Most nights a slice to splinter the sky but
for now we are uninjured whole–
a white cold glow
awash in the whisper breath wonder
of star strung wishes,
arms spread wide and
whirling
dizzying
undone:
Our own kind of magic.
